about ME

I began my career in audio as a recording engineer. Struggling to maintain a foothold in the increasingly competitive studio environment, I took a part-time job at a theater. Having no previous knowledge of theater sound (I think I had seen one touring musical) I was as suprised as anyone to find myself, just two years later, living in New York City mixing live theater for some of the top sound designers in the world.

I have lived in New York since 2008 but continue to work all over the country. My primary expertise is in mixing large musicals. I also have significant professional experience as a system engineer, RF microphone technician, and monitor engineer.
